Tracht Psychotherapy Foundation is offering 2 Bodywork Psychotherapy Workshops for Counsellors and Therapists, and advanced Students: - Day 1: Working Playfully with Story, Drama, and Shadow Energy in Individual and Group Psychotherapy. Day 2: An Introduction to Working with Sexual Intimacy in Sexual Relationships & Couple Psychotherapy.

- A CPD Cert for 6 hours will be issued for each of the workshop days.

Working Playfully with Story, Drama, and Shadow Energy in Individual and Group Psychotherapy.

Led by Kathy Cunningham, supported by Ursa Deniflee.

Kathy, supported by Ursa will be looking at ways to work playfully with story and drama on a deep level in one to one and group therapy, to support people to get to know the shadow in a liberating and refreshing way.

Kathy Cunningham founded the Tracht Psychotherapy Foundation in 1989, establishing one of the first Body Psychotherapy Trainings in Ireland. She brings a wealth of experience of training in psychotherapy, and has been mainly working with ecology and awareness since about 2000.

Ursa Deniflee, LSBP, UKCP is a psychotherapist and trainer in Bodywork Psychotherapy, living and working in London. Ursa designed much of the format of the Tracht Diploma course, and ran the third year of the training for 8 years, and she is interested in integrating art and therapy, and using psychoanalytical insights in Body Psychotherapy.

An Introduction to Working with Sexual Intimacy in Sexual Relationships and Couple Psychotherapy.

Led by Peter and Caragh Thompson.

Date: Sunday 26 May 2019

In this workshop Peter and Caragh Thompson will introduce ideas and techniques supporting therapists and counsellors working with sexuality and intimacy issues in client and couple relationships. Exploring techniques and procedures developed at the ICASA Institute in the UK (Intimacy, Consciousness and Self Awareness) for training and supporting sexual surrogacy work, Peter and Caragh will guide participants to build up confidence and positivity towards sexual well-being for clients and couples.

Peter Thompson, IAHIP, IACP is a Biodynamic and Integrative therapist and trainer, based in Cork who originally trained at Tracht.

Caragh Thompson, Dip. ION, MICASA has trained in food and dietary work and both Peter and Caragh have trained and worked in supporting therapists and clients in sexual intimacy training at ICASA, in the UK.

A light lunch at the Boghill Centre is included for each training day.

Time: Both days 10am to 6pm.

Venue: Boghill Centre, Kilfenora, Co. Clare. (Please do not contact Boghill Centre, but contact Tracht Psychotherapy Foundation directly regarding bookings and accommodation queries).

Cost: Each workshop day costs €160 if taken separately, or if you choose to attend both there is a combined price of €280. A light lunch is included for each training day.

Application: We request a deposit fee of €60 per workshop to hold and confirm your booking. The deposit is non-refundable.
